About
It was his sophomore year of high school when a teacher suggested he take up acting, yet it took four more years before he mustered the courage to do it. Having only been actively involved in sports, the world of acting was very new to him, but he soon developed a love for the art and the creative aspects it offered. He went on to earn his first role in the Muhlenberg College blackbox production of Mud during his Junior year there, and then a small role in his first film, Iowa City. During his pursuit of a theater major, he appeared in plays such as This is a Chair and The Miss Firecracker Contest, in which he portrayed the sickly, carnival man, Mac Sam. He also played the character of Sergius in the production of Arms and the Man, which allowed him to explore the hilarious mix of extreme confidence...and complete idiocy. He greatly appreciates the education he received from his professors, from physical stage combat, to classical acting, and even learning how to sing...to an extent. Troy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Communications and was a two-time conference qualifier in the discus for the Varsity Track and Field team. Since graduation he has made the transition into Film and TV, and has taken up modeling as well. He currently resides in Los Angeles as an AFAA certified personal trainer as he tries to navigate the entertainment industry.
